Use Potion
Once as part of your opener
If you ever get out of combat
Use Rake out of stealth
Once as part of your opener
Use Potion: Use your potion with Berserk/Incarnation or if the fight will end soon
Use Racial Active Buff: Use Racial buffs with Berserk/Incarnation
Use Trinkets: Use buff trinkets with Tiger's Fury
If Predatory Swiftness is about to drop off and you don't have Bloodtalons up
Coordinate using the crit buff with big damage cooldowns and potions
Use right away when you need 50+ Energy
If you have Predatory Swiftness and Bloodtalons is down
If Rip is not on your target
Rip snapshots the damage bonus from Tiger's Fury. If you have Tiger's Fury up and your current Rip on the target was not buffed by Tiger's Fury, replace it immediately.
If Rip is about to fall off your main target, refresh it regardless of current Energy.
Use when Rip is on the target and you have enough Power to do max damage. 50 Energy normally. 20 Energy with Berserk/Incarnation.
If Rip has less than 3 seconds remaining, refresh it with Ferocious Bite to keep it rolling.
If you are at 4 Combo Points, have Predatory Swiftness, don't have Bloodtalons, and are about to refresh Rake.
Use when Rake is down or it is in the 30% refresh window (less than 4.5 seconds). Try to put Rake up on multiple targets when possible. Only use with Bloodtalons up or if Rake drops off.
With Clearcasting. You can do slightly more single target damage if you use Clearcasting procs with Shred instead of Brutal Slash.
Save this for multiple targets if possible. Always use at 3 charges even if there is only one target.
This is worth using on a single target to get the buff from Wild Fleshrending or Twisted Claws. Use when Thrash is down or in the 30% refresh window (less than 4.5 seconds)
Are you at 5 Combo Points?
No

How is this Guide useful?
The goal of our guides is to show you the overall "optimal" options for building your character. If you do not wish to dig through walls of text then you may like our visual "cut to the chase" approach.
Where do you get this data from?
We use algorithms to parse big data chunks from Top 1% players from Arena and RBG leaderboards using the official Blizzard API. We believe that statistics is a very reliable method for determining solid choices for end-game optimization.
